libjemalloc1 software package provides general-purpose scalable concurrent malloc(3) implementation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjemalloc1
libjemalloc1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjemalloc1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjemalloc1 *
You will get with libjemalloc1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
